Guess how many times I woke up to pee last night?

Guess how many times I woke up to pee last night?
4? no. 5? wrong again. 2? Nope.

Try zero, zippo, nada, zinch, 0.

Know why?

Cause I had a baby and I’m no longer pregnant! I have my bladder back!

We welcomed a beautiful little boy into our family. Nolan Walter was born February 6, 2013 at 5:46am. He came in weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 20 inches.

He is perfect.

IMG_1253Nolan was born at home as happy and healthy as can be. The labor was fast and furious but wonderful overall.

Labor started at 2am, got bad around 3 and I was fully dilated by 5amish. I pushed slowly and had minimal to no tearing. Jeremiah caught Nolan and placed him on me belly down, caught a glimpse of his boy parts in between, followed quickly by fist pumping and whooping loudly that he’d made another male. Ha! I was very surprised at the sex and had to ask a few times if it was really a boy. I expected a girl by the end this time since he was a bit late. It was a million times better then with Nathaniel. The entire experience was wonderful. The midwife was better. My mom was there. Nathan met his little brother within an hour and a half. I was up showering asap. I never had to leave my bedroom.

I am so thankful that everything went so well and we have this perfect new addition to our family.

2 boys!
